International Conference – The Learning and Teaching of Calculus Across Disciplines 2 (CalcConf3)
📍 June 16–20, 2025, University of Milan
📌 Teaching Sector “Venezian”, via Venezian 15, Milan (Città Studi)
How is Calculus taught and used in disciplines such as biology, chemistry, economics, engineering, computer science, and physics? What meanings do the concepts and methods of Calculus assume in these fields, and how can they support student learning through modeling and argumentation?
CalcConf3 is a unique opportunity to reflect on how mathematical thinking, and in particular Calculus, is an integral part of scientific and professional culture in multiple fields, and how to teach it effectively and interdisciplinarily.
