Meeting “Students meet research”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every year, the PhD School of Mathematics<\/a> of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Milano attracts 8 new students who are selected among the best at the international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting aims to allow prospective PhD students to get in touch with the research which is carried out at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Milano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, they will have a chance to listen to presentations of potential PhD advisors and discuss with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first two days of the meeting will be devoted to short presentations of the research topics of the PhD school members and discussions with previous PhD students. The third day will be devoted to seminars by the junior participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
